SUPPORTING BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES

black-owned-black-businesses-2015-black-business-owner

It is important that during this time of crisis – the crisis that I am referring to is the attack on black bodies by the police officers – we find as many ways to fight back as possible. One very important thing that we can all do is turn away from corporate America and instead support Black owned businesses. Make sure your money continues to go to your community by visiting some of the following local Black owned businesses.

RESTAURANTS

The vibrancy of Rio de Janeiro creates an energetic dining atmosphere in Carioca's on the Disney Magic. Buffet meals are served with a festival theme during daytime hours, and the restaurant transforms into an after-hours scene with table service each evening. (Kent Phillips, photographer)

  2. This is awesome. Several black owned grocery stores, Farmers Markets, and Health Food stores in Northern California. Black owned businesses in The Golden State are thriving like most wouldn’t believe. Especially in Oakland baby. Kingston 11, Souleyvegan, and Pican are on and popping right now. The Bay is on and popping real talk. California has some of the best black owned businesses in the country. Go Golden State Go.
